Unimatic's field watch, sold since 2016 as a series of numbered limited editions and, as the UC2, in Unimatic's permanent Classic series. Each edition has its own reference (U2-<code>), store page, dial, case finish and strap set, so editions are recorded as variants; editions that change the case material, size, crystal or movement are separate models, and the GMT editions are the Modello Due U2 GMT, the Sellita-powered slim-case editions (with the Hodinkee U2-H) the Modello Due U2S and the quartz UT2 the Modello Due UT2. Common specification, from Unimatic's spec sheets: 38.5mm case with a fixed monoblock bezel, 47.5mm lug to lug, 22mm drilled lugs, 8mm screw-down 'Alchemical Sun' crown without guards, screw-down caseback, individually tested to 300m, 2.7mm ultra double-domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, Seiko NH35A (Unimatic quotes Seiko's -20/+40 s/day and antimagnetism to 4,800 A/m; no regulation claim). Thickness: the 2016 U2-AB and U2-AG sheets and Worn & Wound's U2-AG review give 15.7mm, and Unimatic's current Modello Due sheets give 12.7mm without the crystal and 15.7mm with it, recorded; the 2017-2020 sheets give 13.7mm on the same drawing, crystal not stated (the 2019 U2-NC sheet gives 13mm in its text and 13.7mm on its drawing, and Worn & Wound 38.5 x 47.5 x 13.7mm). The current sheets also give a 38mm diameter, a 29mm case opening and 316L steel, where the 2016-2020 sheets say 38.5mm and 316; Worn & Wound gives 39 x 47.6mm. The 2016-2020 sheets give no weight; the current UC2 sheet gives 89g for the head and 105g on the strap, recorded, and the U2-TSP sheet 87g and 102g. The dials have no date window (stated on the U2-B to U2-FN sheets; the photos of the other editions show none), so complications are hours, minutes and seconds. Dial, lume colour, case finish and coating, caseback engraving and straps vary by edition. Prices are the euro prices for Italy, VAT included, shown on each product page; Unimatic prices other markets differently. Sold-out editions keep their store page and last listed price; where the store shows 0 instead, the price comes from launch coverage or is left blank. Edition details. The U2-AB to U2-FN editions all have the 'Angular Mil' caseback engraving and the individual number between the lugs or on the caseback. U2-AB and U2-AG (2016, 150 each), the debut editions: brushed case, ultra matte dial with ghost hands in the dial colour, C1 lume, made-in-Italy calf leather strap. The U2-AB description is copied from the U2-AG and gives an olive drab dial, but its page header and photos show charcoal, recorded. U2-B (2017, 400) and U2-BN (2017, 250, black DLC case): black military dial with C1 lume and off-white open seconds rail, bead-blasted case on the U2-B, nylon strap plus a black silicone strap; the U2-BN page header and description give a grey nylon strap, but its spec sheet and photos show black, recorded. U2-C (2018, 400) and U2-CN (2018, 200, black DLC case): vintage black military dial with old radium lume and gilt closed seconds rail, Cordura strap plus a black silicone strap; the U2-CN sheet gives a brown Cordura strap, but its page header, description and photos show black, recorded. U2-F (2020, 500) and U2-FN (2020, 250, black DLC case): RAF grey dial with C1 lume and silver closed seconds rail, nylon strap, Unimatic tough case; their descriptions give a 1.8mm caseback where the earlier ones say 2mm. U2-NC (2019, 150) was made with Nigel Cabourn and sold through his stores: stonewashed Cerakote olive drab green coated case and buckle, navy blue dial with cream old radium lume and gold trims, caseback with a map of Antarctica after the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition, orange and navy X-stitched nylon straps; the store tags it 2018, but Worn & Wound reported its release in November 2019; the store shows 0, so the price is Worn & Wound's 795 USD launch price. UC2 Classic is not a limited edition: the Modello Due of Unimatic's permanent Classic series, individually numbered in yearly batches: matte black dial marked CLASSIC with C3 pale green lume, closed off-white seconds rail, 'Rosa dei venti' compass caseback, black nylon strap and travel pouch; its sheet gives the same case, crystal and NH35A as the current U2 sheets, so it is a variant here, and its description calls the steel 316 where the sheet says 316L. U2-MMC (2024, 80) was made with the Morgan Motor Company and sold through Morgan's online store: glossy blue soleil dial, biscuit and black pebble leather straps in Morgan upholstery hide; the store shows 0, so the price is the 675 GBP launch price from Acquire. Its description calls it a slim field watch with a 1.8mm caseback, wording from the Sellita-powered U2S, and one of its photos is a U2S side view, but its reference, its description and Acquire give the Seiko NH35A, so it is recorded here. U2-RA (2024, 100, black DLC case), inspired by Italian rationalist architecture: matte black scientific dial with glossy white rails and skeleton hands, rationalism caseback engraving, black calf leather strap; the store shows 0 and no launch price was found (US dealers list it at 665 and 549 USD), so no price is recorded. U2-KKD (2025, 150) was made with Kaikado and ERG Media: circular-polished 925 silver dial with their debossed logos, matte black skeleton hands, grey worn leather strap, UNIMATIC x Kaikado x ERG Media 150th-anniversary caseback. U2-TSP (2026, 99, Tennis Collection; the page has no year tag, the year is from WAQT): sandblasted case, clay-court red grené dial, tennis ball caseback, black nylon strap with safety yellow keeper. The U2-KKD, U2-MMC and U2-RA pages link no spec sheet; their specs come from their descriptions, which name no lume.
