About this entry

Isotope's first dive watch, a compressor-style case with an inner rotating bezel worked by a crown at 2 (four gaskets) and a screw-down time-setting crown at 4, designed with ice freediver Johanna Nordblad. Shared spec table: brushed 316L steel, "40mm X 44mm (with lugs)", height 12.7mm with the SW200 or 13.4mm with the Seiko, AR sapphire, screw-down caseback (exhibition on Orange, Yellow, Green and Red; solid and etched on the Nordblad special edition), Super-LumiNova BGW9 on hands, inner bezel and sandwich dial, 200m, 22mm brushed steel bracelet with an extension clasp for wearing over a wetsuit (the separately sold Goutte d'Eau bracelet has solid links and pins and a diver extension). The store listing sold 5 of its 14 options as this model (Nordblad (no date) NH38, Orange (no date) NH35a, Yellow, Red and Green (no date) NH38); the others are in the other Goutte d'Eau files, split by movement and date. Isotope's spec names the Japan-made Seiko NH38 (no date, 41h, -20/+40 s/day, Seiko's own figure). The Orange option is still labelled "NH35a", and the 2020 coverage (WatchGecko, Fifth Wrist) describes the Japanese versions as NH35A-powered with or without date, so early no-date pieces may have an NH35A with the date hidden; the NH38 named in the current text is recorded. WatchGecko's April 2020 launch article gives £379 for the Seiko versions, recorded with that caveat; Fratello's 2021 review of the green edition says the Seiko option cost about €150 less than the sub-€600 Sellita version. Each watch has an etched serial number. Every option was sold out and listed without a price on 2026-10-25; Isotope doesn't say the model is discontinued. Weight and crystal shape aren't published.
