Second-generation Helmsman, a super-compressor-style diver with twin crowns and an internal rotating bezel, redesigned "from ground up" and listed by Zelos from 1 July 2017 in CuSn8 marine bronze (this file) or 316L steel (Helmsman 2 300m Steel, a separate model); all seven listings are in Zelos's Discontinued Models collection. The later steel Helmsman SS (2025, Miyota 9015) and titanium Helmsman 10th Anniversary Edition (2024) are separate models. Zelos spec list: 42mm, "13.5mm thick excluding crystal" (so thickness is left blank; aBlogtoWatch and SeriousWatches also give 13.5mm, and no with-crystal total was found), 22mm lugs, 48mm lug to lug, double-domed sapphire, 300m, Seiko NH35, double screw-down crowns with lumed logo, BGW9 fully lumed CNC-engraved internal bezel, BGW9 on dial and hands, multi-level dial. The outer bezel is brushed bronze and "simply screwed on (except for the ceramic variant)" so it can be swapped by hand; the Black Ceramic has a black ceramic outer bezel ("1500 Vickers"). SeriousWatches: the 2 o'clock crown turns the internal bezel and the 4 o'clock crown sets the movement. Date at 3 and 60-minute internal bezel scale from Zelos's photos. Sold with a Horween leather strap and a Zelos rubber strap (plus a strap-change tool); no bracelet was listed. aBlogtoWatch reported pre-order prices of $369 to $549 in 2017; the recorded prices are the store's current listed prices. Caseback, AR coating and weight are not stated.
