Islander's first skeleton watch. This file is the gilded version (ISL-165) with the gold-plated Seiko NH71A; the steel version (ISL-166) uses the nickel-plated NH70A and has a steel bezel insert and a beads-of-rice bracelet, so it is a separate model (baiting-hollow-steel-skeleton). No dial: branding is printed on the underside of the flat sapphire crystal (inner AR), and a chapter ring carries the hour markers. 42mm "dive watch style" case, 14.3mm thick, 49.5mm lug to lug, 22mm lugs, screw-down crown, 200m, screw-down exhibition caseback; "stainless steel" (grade not stated). 120-click unidirectional bezel with a ceramic count-down insert whose relief is gold-coloured to match the gold coin-edge bezel and crown (how the gold colour is applied is not stated). Black-outline hands; C3 Super-LumiNova on the hour markers and hand tips. Weight 165g from the spec table, not stated what was weighed. Two-tone bracelet (3 links per row from photos) with a flip-lock clasp and 3 micro-adjust positions (adjustment method not stated), 22mm tapering to 18mm. Tagged "Discontinued" in the Long Island Watch store and sold out on 2026-10-21; the store showed $155 against a $349 compare-at price.
