Great Waveluminous print of Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawablack with white 60-minute scale

About this entry

68% of key specs known. Missing: hardening, AR coating, crown, end links, link attachment, clasp micro-adjust.

Cushion-cased Seiko NH35 diver from the store's older MY-H line, with the crown at 4, a luminous dial printed with Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa", applied square markers, a date at 3 and a black 60-minute bezel. The listing (title spelled "ADDIESIVE", text "Model: MY-H8-Surf", internal SKU JGCPSKUH8-30, listed since September 2022) is recorded under its current code "H8-Surf", as with h2 and h9. It is its own model, not a variant of AD2524 (see ad2524, the store's former MY-H8): the AD2524 has the same 43.8mm / 46.8mm / 13.5mm cushion case and 20mm lugs, but a Miyota 8215 and a plain black dial, while the Surf has a Seiko NH35A ("Time Module NH35A") and its own dial, and a different movement makes a separate model. Nor is it the NH35 AD2081 (see ad2081), a separate code with a different dial, quoted at 14mm. The listing names no homage; the case follows the Seiko 6105 the store names for the AD2524. Brand specs: 316L case, 43.8mm without crown, 13.5mm "including mirror and caseback", 20mm lugs, 46.8mm lug-to-lug, synthetic sapphire crystal (shape and AR not stated; one product image overlays a blue disc on the crystal, but the text does not claim AR), "C3 Luminous (Green Light)", screw-in caseback, stainless steel bracelet with a 316L folding clasp, 200m. The text gives no weight or bracelet length: the dimension graphic (agreeing on 43.8mm, 46.8mm and 20mm) shows the watch on its bracelet at 187g with 220mm, so the weight comes from that graphic only. From the photos only: the bezel-rotation graphic with both arrows counter-clockwise (recorded as unidirectional), the 60-minute scale and its lumed markers (lume photo), the solid caseback engraved "Automatic movement NH35 Dive 200M by Addies, all stainless steel", and the three-link Oyster-style bracelet. Bezel insert material, click count, crown type, end links and micro-adjust are not stated. One dial, $149 from China (no crossed-out price); a U.S. warehouse listing (ships to US addresses only, SKU US-JGCPSKUH8-30, same spec text) sells it at $159. Both in stock on 2026-10-21.
