Islander's first skeleton watch. This file is the steel version (ISL-166) with the nickel-plated Seiko NH70A; the gilded version (ISL-165) uses the gold-plated NH71A, a ceramic insert and a two-tone bracelet, so it is a separate model (baiting-hollow-gilded-skeleton). No dial: branding is printed on the underside of the flat sapphire crystal (inner AR), and a chapter ring carries the hour markers. 42mm "dive watch style" case, 14.3mm thick, 49.5mm lug to lug, 22mm lugs, screw-down crown, 200m, screw-down exhibition caseback; "stainless steel" (grade not stated). 120-click unidirectional bezel with a stainless steel count-down insert. White-outline hands; BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the hour markers and hands. Weight 180g from the spec table, not stated what was weighed. Beads-of-rice bracelet with a flip-lock clasp and 3 micro-adjust positions (adjustment method not stated), 22mm tapering to 20mm. Sold out on 2026-10-21 but still listed and not marked discontinued.
