About this entry

80% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening, bracelet offered.

Eska's spec block, identical on every listing here: 316L steel, 40mm, 13.5mm thick, 46mm lug to lug, double-domed sapphire, Sellita SW200 automatic with stop-seconds (26 jewels, 4 Hz, 38h), Super-LumiNova on indices and hands, 25 ATM / 250m; hours, minutes and seconds only, no date. Recorded as the SW200-1 that The Calibrated Wrist names (Eska's 38h against the 41h in the movement file). Lug width (20mm), the 120-click unidirectional countdown bezel with a sapphire insert and lume, the screw-down caseback and crown and the inner AR coating are from The Calibrated Wrist's Black Shark review; Eska's strap listings for the Amphibian are 20mm too, and the Green Turtle page mentions an anti-reflective treatment. Every source gives 13.5mm thickness, but none says whether the double-domed crystal (which sits proud of the bezel) is included; Eska quotes the Heritage and Racing as case plus crystal. Weight is not published. The first, 2024 Kickstarter batch (Black Sea, ref. 1094) used a Seiko NH38 and is recorded as Amphibian 250 (Seiko NH38). Prices are the French store's, VAT included ("TTC"). White Shark and Black Shark come with a two-piece NATO plus a sand tropic strap. Red Viper was Eska's first limited edition (136 pieces, sold out), boxed with a Ladder band, a red tropic and a NATO. Green Turtle: 136 numbered pieces (136 fathoms is roughly 250m), sold out. Blue Dolphin: annual production limited to 136 pieces; its Super-LumiNova is white by day and glows blue on the indices, hands and bezel; it comes on a white FKM strap or, at the same price, a navy Rub Strap. Black Heroes: collaboration with the magazine Montre Heroes, ghost dial with partly removed signatures and the magazine's raven; no edition size is stated. H-Hour: tribute to the 15 August 1944 Provence landings (Operation Dragoon), developed with the former commander of the amphibious helicopter carrier Tonnerre, 50 numbered pieces with cube hour markers, a red 7:50 marker, a reworked bezel and a caseback engraved with the French amphibious forces badge; a destro version (crown at 9) could be chosen at order. Its public listing (€1,090, Erika NATO strap) and a second listing "reserved for specialised units of the French Amphibious Forces" (regular €1,090 with NATO and tropic straps or €1,180 adding the Erika NATO, offered at €650 / €715) are both sold out. Cœur de Paris: Amphibian with a dial hand-painted by IFL Watches, 136 pieces, Super-LumiNova on the hands only; the listing announced first deliveries from 15 September.
