Straum's first model ("Opphav" means origin), launched in 2021 alongside the Rastarkalv, with textured dials in black, blue, green and white on custom leather straps. Straum's archived product pages (tagged "Discontinued") carry only a short description, so the specs come from reviews. Watch Clicker (2022): 41mm, 46.6mm lug to lug, 11.1mm high (not said whether that includes the domed crystal), 22mm lugs, sapphire, 100m, Super-LumiNova BGW9 on indices and hands, push-pull crown between crown guards, and a caseback that is half sapphire with an embossed steel bridge across it, showing a Sellita SW200-1 with a ghost date position (no date on the dial, hence complications: none). Fratello (2022) adds that the regular Opphav used the standard grade SW200-1 (the later Damascus version moved to Elaboré and removed the ghost date). The double-domed sapphire with internal AR coating is from Straum's description of the Rastarkalv, which shares the case design. Case steel grade not stated for the Opphav. The SKUs pair each dial with a leather strap and leather travel case of a set colour (e.g. black dial, blue strap, green case). Watch Clicker reported a steel bracelet planned for mid-2022; whether it shipped was not confirmed, so bracelet is left blank. Edition sizes reported by reviews vary and are not given by Straum. Prices are the US-dollar prices still shown on Straum's archived pages ($900; Watch Clicker also gave $900); all sold out.
