About this entry

73% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening, lume, bracelet offered.

Celeste Watch Company's 42mm automatic case with the Sellita SW200-1. Each dial design sold in this case is recorded as a variant; the 42mm automatics with the STP1-11 (Red Dragon, Albuquerque Sky) are a separate model. "Key Specifications" on the listings: 42mm diameter (excluding crown), 5ATM, sapphire crystals front and exhibition back, hypoallergenic 316L stainless steel, screw-down crown, 10.75mm thickness (including crystal; the same figure as the 38mm case), 22mm lug width, Sellita SW200-1 movement (41h power reserve). The spec lists (Amethyst, Cobalt and Deepwater Crush, Tree Frog, Sugar Skull, Golden Gate Bridge) add "Lug to Lug Distance - 49.86mm", a customised Celeste rotor with Côtes de Genève finish, brushed and high-polish surfaces, anti-reflective coating on both sides of both crystals, and "5 ATM / 50 Meters" (splashes or brief immersion, not swimming). The Tree Frog and Sugar Skull Key Specifications also list the 38mm model's figures, but those listings sell the 42mm only. The photos of Amethyst Crush and Tree Frog show a date window (at about 4:30 and at 6), so the SW200-1's date is shown on at least some designs; not every design was checked, so no complications are recorded. Straps: 22mm vegetable-tanned leather with a butterfly buckle; Golden Gate Bridge comes with a deployment clasp. Caw, Hook 'Em, Papa Bear and Wind Chaser are quartz designs whose listings also offer a "42mm Automatic" at $1,850 without naming the calibre; they are recorded here because every other current 42mm listing but the two limited STP1-11 pieces names the SW200-1, but they could have the STP1-11 the FAQ also mentions ("26 jewel Swiss made STP or Sellita movement"). Prices are the store's USD prices (the same on 2026-10-24 and 2026-10-31): the model price is the lowest design price in this case, and designs that cost more carry their own. Not stated: weight, lume, caseback attachment. Editions. 10 variants (dial designs) in this case on 2026-10-31: shell-inlay designs in abalone, mother of pearl and wood, some with CZ stones (Amethyst Crush, Caw, Cobalt Crush, Deepwater Crush, Golden Gate Bridge, Hook 'Em, Papa Bear, Sugar Skull, Tree Frog and Wind Chaser). The same listings also sell, recorded on those models: in 38mm quartz and 38mm automatic: Caw, Hook 'Em, Papa Bear and Wind Chaser; in 38mm automatic: Golden Gate Bridge. Sugar Skull and Tree Frog are also sold as quartz designs (38mm and 35mm), as separate listings.
