About this entry

63% of key specs known. Missing: lug width, weight, hardening, bracelet links, end links, link attachment, clasp micro-adjust.

Astor+Banks' first Sea Ranger, launched in 2019 (Worn & Wound first look of prototypes, April 30, 2019; Kickstarter early-bird price $575 announced for June 2019). Brand specs, the same on all four listings: 40mm, 45.5mm lug-to-lug, 13.8mm including crystal, brushed 316L with polished chamfers and drilled lugs, screw-down crown, Viton gaskets, 300m, double-domed sapphire with AR on the underside (the Polar listing says "domed"; treated as the same crystal), 12-hour sapphire bezel insert for a second time zone (the blue, white and DLC listings call it "fully lumed"; the black listing does not say), 24-hour military track, BGW9 lume, and a 316L bracelet with a double-locking folding clasp plus a rubber and a NATO-style strap. Bezel direction and lug width are not stated. The listings name a Sellita SW200; Worn & Wound and Two Broke Watch Snobs quote "Sellita SW200 or ETA 2824-2", so the brand's caliber is recorded. All four dials photographed show no date window, so the date is recorded as hidden. The S is the black-DLC version of the same watch. The blue and DLC listings had a "Bracelet: Yes / No" option, so they were also sold without the bracelet; no strap-only price was found. Prices: the store pages now show $0 and are sold out; the price recorded is Worn & Wound's $875 retail at launch. Two Broke Watch Snobs gives a final price of $850 ($575 on the brand's site at the time), undated beyond an April 2020 update. Status: the store still lists the four sold-out pages in a "Sea Ranger" collection, but the brand's current version is the Sea Ranger M2 (La Joux-Perret G100, internal 12-hour ring), so this first version is treated as replaced.
