About this entry

84% of key specs known. Missing: hardening, AR coating, end links.

Second-generation Sandhurst (the first appeared in 2019), launched with the Military Collection Series 2 in September 2022 alongside the C65 Cranwell Series 2, which shares the case and movement (US$1,080 in steel at launch; a bronze version was also offered, Worn & Wound). The brand says it is based on the 1969 Smiths W10, is approved by the UK Ministry of Defence and is the first CW model to carry the British Army heraldic badge, deep-stamped on the solid screw-down caseback. Movement: COSC-certified Sellita SW200-1, 26 jewels, 38h, timing tolerance -4/+6 s/day; no date. Glass box sapphire crystal; AR coating not stated. Weights are the brand's: case 60g, 152g on the Bader bracelet, 85g on the leather or canvas strap (bracelet alone 92g, 184mm). Bader bracelet (same SKU, 20-STL-22-SXS-MA2, as the Cranwell and Dune Aeolian): 316L, screw links (the accessory page says single screw links, the product page says dual screw links), quick-release; links per row from Worn & Wound's "3-link Bader bracelet" for the Dune Aeolian. Clasp per the handbook: press the buttons, open the clasp, pull a lever to extend (five positions, max 10mm), so it is recorded as toolless. Prices shown in USD on the /int/ storefront.
