The original Eagle, Zelos's fighter-jet-inspired pilot's watch, offered on pre-order from 18 December 2015 (Worn & Wound, January 2016: "starting at $460") and described by Zelos as released in 2016; every listing is now in Zelos's Discontinued Models collection. Replaced by the 39mm titanium Eagle 2 (2024), a separate model. Zelos numbers the colourways (E-1A white numerals, E-1B grey, E-1C bronze case with vintage numerals, E-1D "Afterburner" orange numerals, a "Limited Edition" listed in June 2016 with no edition size). This file is the black DLC-coated 316L steel case (E-1A, E-1B, E-1D); the E-1C, with a CuSn8 bronze outer case over a DLC steel inner case, is a separate model (Eagle Bronze). Two-part case: a grooved central case holding movement and dial (the water-resistant part) inside an outer case with large side cut-outs, mixed sandblasted and brushed textures, and a crown shaped like an engine nozzle, engraved like the buckle. Zelos: 42mm, "16mm thickness" (not stated whether it includes the high double-domed crystal), 200m, 4mm-thick double-domed sapphire "AR coated" (side not stated), Miyota 9015 behind a turbine-shaped backplate that partly shows the movement, serial-numbered. Zelos says the DLC coating "provides a durable shield against wear" (no hardness figure). No date window (photos; SeriousWatches: "Date: No"), although Zelos names the date caliber 9015. Screw-down crown and display back per Worn & Wound; 22mm lugs per SeriousWatches. Sandwich dial (matte sandblasted top layer, circular-brushed lower layer); Zelos: E-1A uses BGW9 and is the brightest, E-1B uses C1 with a dye for a different daylight colour; the E-1D's lume is not stated. Shipped with a canvas and a brown vintage leather strap in an aluminium case; no bracelet listed. Lug-to-lug and weight not published by Zelos.
