The first Abyss, Zelos's 3000m bronze diver, crowdfunded on Kickstarter (campaign closing 28 January 2015; Worn & Wound quoted $490 to $575 USD backer pricing and a planned run of 500 pieces per colourway) and listed on zeloswatches.com in January 2015; all five listings are in Zelos's Discontinued Models collection. Replaced by the Abyss 2 (Sellita SW200, 2017) and Abyss 3 (2020), separate models. Zelos: 43mm CuSn8 bronze case, 51.5mm lug to lug, "18mm thickness" (not stated whether it includes the crystal), brushed with polished edges, 24-jewel Miyota 9015, 7mm-thick double-domed sapphire with inner AR coating, 3000m, 120-click unidirectional bezel with a lumed triangle (only the triangle is lumed), 4mm-thick stainless steel screw-down caseback sealed by a double O-ring, multi-level dial with a circular-brushed inner dial, BGW9 on hands and markers, logo engraved on crown and buckle. Twin crowns on the right, both DLC-coated steel (Zelos: DLC "Extreme hard coating on stainless steel to prevent scratches", on the crowns and on the black bezel of the DLC Bezel model): per Worn & Wound the upper crown turns an inner rotating bezel (minute scale, from the photos) and the lower sets the time, each with five gaskets; helium escape valve at 9 o'clock (Worn & Wound, WristReview). Screw-down crowns per The Time Bum's comparison with the Abyss 2. Date at 3 (photos); dive scale from the photos. Shipped with a black rubber dive strap and a brown vintage leather strap (WristReview, Worn & Wound); no bracelet listed. The Green and DLC-bezel listings are typed "Strap" in Zelos's store but are the same watch. Weight not published.
