About this entry

84% of key specs known. Missing: hardening, bracelet links, clasp micro-adjust.

The Smiths Everest was launched in 40mm in 2011; this 36mm PRS-25 was introduced in 2018 and is sold in batches as separate store listings per dial, merged here as variants because the case, movement and specification are the same. Common specification: 316L steel with brushed top and polished sides, 36mm (39.3mm with crown), 43.5mm lug-to-lug, 11.4mm to the top of the hi-dome sapphire (11.3mm on the Silver Jubilee page), 20mm drilled lugs, anti-magnetic to 20,000 A/m with an anti-magnetic movement cover, 100m, screw back, screw-down crown; sapphire 30.4mm x 2.5mm with AR on the underside; Miyota 9039 (no date), Japanese made; case and bracelet made in Hong Kong. Weight including bracelet 140g (the Black page says 130g and the Silver Jubilee 151g). Bracelets taper from 20mm to 16mm with screwed links, solid end links and a signed push-button clasp: oyster on the White and Expedition (the Expedition's described as solid link), jubilee on the others. Dials: Black, satin black with polished Mercedes hands; Gilt, satin black with gilt minute track and logo and gilt hands (fourth run); Honeycomb, black honeycomb with white minute track and Super-LumiNova Light Old Radium (launched 2023, one per customer); White, pale cream with black minute track and heat-blued Mercedes hands (sixth batch); Expedition, a nod to the Smiths A454 "Antarctic" of the 1955-58 Trans-Antarctic Expedition, pale cream with lumed numerals only, heat-blued syringe hands and red centre seconds; Silver Jubilee, a numbered limited edition of 500 celebrating 25 years of Timefactors selling online, aventurine dial with white minute track and a solid-link jubilee bracelet with twin-pusher clasp, at £365 (sold out and discontinued). The other dials use Super-LumiNova X1-C3. The Smiths Commando PRS-47 shares this case with a tropical dial and baton hands. On 2026-10-25 every listing was sold out: Gilt next available Sunday 8 November, Expedition 22 November 2026 (TBC), White and Black Summer 2027 (TBC).
