About this entry

A one-off Aurora Field 38mm with a stainless Damascus-steel case and crown and a meteorite dial, listed by Zelos on 8 July 2023 alongside the second titanium batch. Zelos titles it "Aurora Field 38mm 'Damascus'"; its URL ("aurora-field-38mm-ti-damascus") and SeriousWatches's title say "Ti Damascus", but both Zelos's text ("stainless damascus steel case", "Case: Damascus Steel Case and Crown") and SeriousWatches's spec table give Damascus steel, not titanium, so it is a separate steel model from the Aurora Field 38mm Ti. Zelos describes Damascus steel as multiple layers of steel forged and twisted at high temperature for a woodgrain pattern, no two alike, with "increased hardness" but no figure, so no hardening is recorded. Sold out on 2026-10-21 and not listed again; Zelos still lists it in its Aurora Field collection, not in Discontinued Models, and states no edition size, so it is recorded as limited. Same spec list as the titanium 38mm: 38mm, 46mm lug to lug, 12mm thick (not stated whether that includes the flat crystal), 20mm lugs, 200m, flat sapphire with inner AR coating, Super-LumiNova C3, no-date Miyota 9039 with an antimagnetic soft-iron cage (30,000 A/m). Fixed bezel (Damascus steel per SeriousWatches) and solid caseback per SeriousWatches; crown type not stated. Sold on a black FKM rubber strap with a Damascus buckle only. Weight not published.
