About this entry

95% of key specs known. Missing: weight.

Twin-crown, super-compressor-style diver. Ref. 5223 (3rd generation), which per Traska's Reference Points page made the 2 o'clock bezel crown screw-down, widened the internal bezel, switched to printed hour markers with BGW9 applied thickly enough to stand 0.3mm proud, and added the quick-adjust clasp. Time-setting crown at 4 o'clock, bidirectional internal 60-minute timing bezel with lumed markers at 2 o'clock; both crowns screw down. Fixed outer bezel is plain steel. Dimensions from the brand drawing: 38.5mm, 46mm lug-to-lug, 11.3mm with the box sapphire (9.5mm without), 20mm lugs tapering to 16mm. Lume is standard Swiss BGW9 (not Grade A) on dial, hands and internal bezel. Hardening: "almost 1200HV" on case and bracelet per the brand; method not disclosed (the spec image calls it a "scratch-resistant coating"). Regulated in four positions, "typically -10 to +20 s/day". Clasp: brand-described "tool-less" push-button quick-adjust clasp with two half-links, recorded as toolless as for the other Traska models; the number of positions conflicts (product text: six, 1.35mm apart; specification image: five), and Traska's original 2023 quick-adjust clasp had five 1.5mm steps, so positions are left blank. Quick-release spring bars are not mentioned for this generation (Traska added them to other models in 2025), so quick_release is left unknown. Steel Blue and Stone Gray have glossy lacquered dials; Charcoal Black and Sun-Bleached Orange are semi-matte (Orange has black PVD hands). Solid notched screw-in caseback per the brand's photo (same design as the Commuter's). The Watch Clicker's figures (10.25mm, 128 g) are for the 2022 version and are not used. No current weight found. Status unknown: all four colours were sold out on 2026-10-21 and the Seafarer is no longer in the site's Watches menu, and Traska's June 2026 journal lists its sport watches as the Freediver, Commuter and Summiteer; the product pages and Seafarer collection are still live and no discontinuation was announced.
