About this entry
68% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening, bracelet links, end links, link attachment, clasp micro-adjust.
Limited and numbered series of 300. Bi-layer matte and lacquer charcoal grey dial with floating 3D luminous indices on an angled stadium ring. Brand specs: 42mm excluding crown, 47mm lug-to-lug, "9.1mm thick case with 3mm leading edge", integrated 3mm-thick bracelet tapering from 26mm at the case to 18mm at the clasp, 100 m, threaded sapphire display caseback, screw-lock crown. Thickness: Mainspring measured 10.2mm total with calipers on the Eclipse E2 (same case, black dial), against the brand's 9.1mm case figure; 10.2mm is recorded. Crystal: the spec list says "double side anti-reflective coating" (recorded), while the longer description puts the DLC anti-reflective coating on the inside of the sapphire only. Miyota 9039 (no date), adjusted in 6 positions after assembly. MDV Luminous Technology, per the brand: the dial is printed with over 30 layers of Super-LumiNova over a chemically coated reflective base so the glow is directed out of the front rather than lost into the dial, and RC Tritec in Switzerland tested and verified its dials as top performers. Brand case claims: forged 316L (forging said to raise fatigue strength 37% over a cast case), heat treatment "to harden the metal surface after finishing" (not recorded as hardening: no treatment or hardness is given), PVD anti-fingerprint coating, double Viton gaskets in the crown and caseback, tested to 30% beyond the 100 m rating. The bracelet has chamfered flat links with pivots 2mm apart and a low-profile butterfly clasp; no micro-adjustment is mentioned. Fixed faceted bezel, from the brand's photos. Weight is not published. Listing created December 2024, published on the store in January 2025; Mainspring (January 2026) says the Eclipse comes in six versions.
