Batch 3 of Schofield's Bronze Beater ("BBB3"), released in the fourth quarter of 2018 and sold in two finishes of the same machined bronze case: raw, left to patinate in wear, and force-patinated in acid and dye baths, then burnished on the bezel, sides and lug edges. Both store listings were sold out and priced at zero on 2026-10-30; the batch size isn't stated. Prices are from launch-era coverage in GBP including UK VAT: £3,180 in Oracle of Time's March 2022 interview and £3,348 in Fratello's June 2023 hands-on, which quotes it for the patinated version; the raw version's price isn't stated separately. Brand spec: 44mm base, 42mm bezel, 35.5mm window, "15mm high (not inc lugs)", 128g with strap, gold-plated ETA 2824-2 with 25 jewels and 42h, hours, minutes and a "Sign-of-Life" centre seconds disc, no date; steel back with a deep laser engraving; steel pull-out crown with double O-ring; sapphire with a nine-layer AR coating and an oleophobic DLC top coat; 200m; strap of the buyer's choice (24mm, as on all Schofields except the Light). Fratello measured 14.8mm "not including lugs", about 52mm lug to lug (47mm pin to pin) and a screwed solid back, and called the crystal domed sapphire. Thickness is left blank: the brand's 15mm and Fratello's 14.8mm disagree and neither says whether the crystal is included. Fratello's spec box lists an STP 1-11 (28,800vph, 44h) and 100m against the brand's ETA 2824-2 and 200m; the brand's current specification is recorded.
