PD-YS is a separate model-number series on Pagani Design's official store (PD-YS003 to PD-YS038 listed in October 2026), sold alongside the four-digit PD-16xx to PD-18xx codes; the brand doesn't explain the prefix. The YS models sit at the upper end of the store's prices (about $128 to $332 on 2026-10-21) and are mostly fashion-led designs with sapphire crystals. This one is a cushion-case three-hander with a sparkling (aventurine-look) dial carrying a raised wave and crescent-moon motif in the style of Hokusai's Great Wave. Movement: the current official spec list names the "Japanese Automatic Miyota 8215" (42h power reserve) and the page title says "Miyota Movement"; the Miyota 8215 is recorded. The brand's caseback photo (uploaded with the listing in September 2024) shows the display back engraved "CAL.NH35" and PD-YS014 over a movement signed "NH35A Twenty-four jewels", probably earlier production; paganidesignwatch.com only says "Japan Movement" and the store's variant codes don't name a movement, so check the caseback when buying. A store customer review praises the "luminova"; the lume type isn't stated by the brand. Lug-to-lug is not stated and no independent review was found. The page's marketing blurb ("Skeleton Dial Mastery ... fully open-worked dial") is generic text that doesn't describe this watch. Colour names are the store's Color / Case options: the colour is the strap colour (Brown has the blue dial on a brown strap), "Gold" is a rose-gold-tone case and "Silver" a steel-tone case (the plating isn't stated); the store's option codes contradict the names (Green / Silver is coded "Gold Green") and aren't recorded.
