About this entry

73% of key specs known. Missing: case material, hardening, crown, bracelet offered.

The original hand-wound Coniston (Miyota 8N33), made with the Campbell Family Heritage Trust. Marloe lists it in its Archive of retired ranges and calls it "the manual predecessor to our current Coniston Automatic", which is a separate model. Its product pages still load (all sold out) at GBP 299. Thickness: the spec list says "10.5mm thick", while the sizing text says "To the peak of the domed crystal the watch has a depth of 11mm" with 46.5mm lug-to-lug; 11mm is recorded. Weight "55g (without strap)". Accuracy "-15 ~ +25 sec/day" is Marloe's figure (Miyota's factory spec is -20 to +40). Marloe doesn't state the case material or whether the crown screws down; the White's hands are "polished stainless steel ... matching the case". The movement shows through the exhibition caseback; the dial is not skeletonised. Archive production numbers: Bluebird 1,000 (sold as a limited edition of 1000), White 900, Steel 500, Vulcan 500, Black Edition 500 (numbered "of 500"), Speed Edition 500, Bonneville 301, Eyre 403, Centenary Edition 100. The last five were known only from the Archive and pre-owned listings, so they have no price or dial colour here. A pre-owned First Edition Steel is numbered "0389 of 1000", which doesn't match the Archive's Steel production of 500 (perhaps the first edition was numbered across colourways). Marloe also resells serviced pre-owned Conistons through its "Marketplace" (GBP 249-399 at import); those one-off listings aren't recorded as variants or prices.
