Second Islander x The Urban Gentry Rangemaster, ISL-226, "limited to just 1000 pieces worldwide" (XXXX/1000 etched on the caseback edge with the model number and "Esto quod esse videris"). The brand introduces it as returning "this year" after the first Rangemaster "last year"; that one sold out in November 2022, so this is recorded as a 2023 release. Miyota 8N24 skeleton in its gilt version with the rotor removed, so it is wound by hand only (spec table: "Handwind only, hacking"); the brand quotes about 40 hours' reserve and says overwinding isn't possible because it is based on an automatic. The skeleton works are seen through the sapphire exhibition screw-down caseback; the dial is solid, so complications are hours, minutes and seconds. 37 x 9.4mm, 45mm lug to lug, 20mm strap, fully blasted case, textured crown (screw-down not stated), 100m. Black dial with 3-6-9 numerals, trapezoid markers and an inner 13-23 military-hour track; hands, markers, numerals and the inner track lumed with C3. Flat sapphire with clear AR on the inside. Case stainless steel (grade not stated). Weight 58g in the spec table (not stated what was weighed).
