Second version (V2) of the WD1972, a military-style diver with an asymmetrical sandblasted case and integrated crown guards. Brand specs: VH31 sweep-seconds quartz, sandblasted 316L steel, 37.8mm bezel, 40.9mm including the crown, 46mm lug-to-lug, 11.2mm including the high-domed crystal, 20mm lugs, sapphire with "high clear AR coating", 120-click unidirectional aluminium bezel, BGW9 lume on hands and markers, screw-down crown, polished screw-down caseback, 200m (tested), 20mm nylon strap (no bracelet offered). The brand gives no case width without the crown; the 40.3mm recorded is the Tech Writer EDC review's measurement, which also gives about 55g for the head and about 70g on the strap, and describes the crystal as double-domed with AR on the inside (recorded from the review). The review says V2 moved to 20mm lugs. Black (1-24 hours) was sold out on 2026-10-24. The listing text compares it with the WD1980, whose Ronda 517 is not used here.
