Quartz three-hander with a "sweeping" seconds hand: TMI specifies a 1/4 centre second hand, i.e. the step motor advances the seconds hand four times per second instead of once, so it looks closer to a mechanical sweep. TMI spec sheet and technical guide: 10½ lignes, Ø23.70mm outside (casing diameter 22.10mm 12–6 / 21.40mm 3–9), 3.45mm high, 0 jewels, accuracy within ±15 s/month at normal temperature, SR920SW battery, battery life about 2 years, second setting device (seconds stop for time setting, recorded here as hacking), electronic circuit reset switch. No date. Caliber Corner notes the earlier VH31A version had 2 jewels; the current VH31B has 0.
