Unimatic's quartz Modello Cinque: the 36mm Modello Cinque case of the U5S, sandblasted, on a Seiko VH31A sweeping-seconds quartz held in Unimatic's '360° protection system' (a TPU anti-shock movement holder), which the Swimming Pool pages and sheets say is certified to MIL-STD-810H. Sold as numbered limited editions, each recorded as a variant; all so far use the VH31A. Common specification, from the editions' spec sheets (all dated 2025): 36mm case, 43.7mm lug to lug, 11.6mm thick without the crystal and 13.5mm with it, 29mm case opening, 22mm lugs, 316L steel, fixed monoblock bezel, 8mm screw-down 'Alchemical Sun' crown, screw-in caseback, individually tested to 300m, 2.2mm sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, 51g head and 64g on the strap (71g on the Swimming Pool editions' TPU strap; 50g and 64g for the UT5-JDM). Crystal: the UT5-AS, GO and Swimming Pool sheets and the Swimming Pool descriptions say flat, while the UT5-JDM and TANC sheets and the UT5-AS, GO, JDM and TANC descriptions say double-domed; the side views of every edition show a domed crystal rising above the bezel, unlike the flat-crystal Modello Quattro UT4, and all the sheets give the same 13.5mm with the crystal, so double-domed is recorded. Unimatic names the VH31A with 2 jewels, +/-15 s/month and about two years on an SR920SW cell; the movement file describes the current VH31B. No edition shows a date. The Swimming Pool sheets read 'Modello Uno UT5-...' in their reference line, a slip in a copied template. Prices are Unimatic's euro prices for Italy, VAT included, shown on each product page (all these editions were sold out on the review date); the UT5-JDM's is in yen (below). Edition details. UT5-AS and UT5-GO (2025, 300 each): Alpine sky blue or glacier white dial with hand-applied 3D UNILIGHT C1 markers, steel hands, Italian Alps caseback, fumo deer leather strap. UT5-IPN, UT5-IPP and UT5-IPT (2026, 99 each, Swimming Pool Collection, made alongside the Modello Uno UT1 Swimming Pool editions): crystal blue, infinity mist or acqua laguna dial with hand-applied 3D UNILIGHT C1 markers, deep blue trims, matte dark navy hands, Swimming Pool caseback, deep blue TPU strap. UT5-JDM 'Concrete Jungle' (2025, 50) was made for Japan only (Unimatic's JDM line) and sold through Floens: handmade sandblasted case, matte cool grey dial with GL C1 lume, dark grey trims and hands, Japanese Domestic Market caseback, cool grey nylon strap; Unimatic's spec list on the page says 316 steel, where the sheet and Floens say 316L; Unimatic's store shows 0 and its page gives 143,000 JPY including tax at Floens, as Floens' own page does, recorded. UT5-TANC-A and UT5-TANC-B (2026, 150 each) were made with Nigel Cabourn and The Armoury: steel case and strap hardware with a stonewashed Cerakote O.D. green (A) or navy blue (B) coating, navy blue dial with printed Arabic numerals and GL Old Radium lume, Nigel Cabourn logo and seconds tip in international orange, orange TPU anti-shock holder, dazzle camouflage caseback, navy blue (A) or forest night (B) nylon strap.
