Officially licensed United States Postal Service collaboration: a USA-assembled C5 field watch on a new 40mm case with integrated crown guards, and Vaer's first day-date watch. Teased on 1 October 2026, early-bird sale on 13 October and public launch on 14 October 2026 (Vaer launch page); on pre-order on 2026-10-21 with shipping expected in early November, sent only by USPS. Brand spec list: 40mm, 48mm lug-to-lug, 10 ATM, 316L steel, brushed case and bezel with polished lugs, locking screw-down crown with embossed logo, flat sapphire with "3 layers of blue AR coating" (side not stated), Swiss Ronda 517 with day-date at 3 on a custom navy calendar (white dates, red Sunday), 15 layers of A-grade BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the dial and BGW9 on the hour and minute hands; 20mm straps. Vaer's care guide calls it "a 40.5mm field watch"; the product page, the launch page FAQ ("only available in 40mm") and Le Nouveau Réveil say 40mm, which is kept. Thickness and weight are not published. Limited run: the product page says "Limited Release" and the launch page "supply will be limited", without a number (Veloce concluded it is not a numbered edition), but Vaer's caseback photo is engraved "0 OF 500" (a placeholder serial), so 500 pieces is recorded. Solid caseback with a relief Post Office Department pony-rider seal, "Vaer x USPS", "Assembled in America", "Swiss Movement", "Sapphire Crystal" and "100M Water Resistance"; screw-down attachment inferred from the wrench notches on its rim in that photo. Existing Vaer bracelets do not fit this case (launch page FAQ); the Premium Steel Bracelet (+USD 90) has its own "C5 Postmaster (USPS) 40mm" fitment (code BRVSBR40B, as in the watch SKU): oyster-inspired flat three-piece links, removable screw links, custom-fit end links, quick-release pins, 20-16mm, milled clasp (bracelet page title), four micro-adjust positions at the clasp (Vaer FAQ). The watch page's generic straps blurb ("friction fit pins... tapers to 18mm") describes Vaer's older Standard bracelet. The single-pass nylon straps need spring bars and are not quick-release (Vaer). No hands-on review with measurements was found. No hardening treatment is mentioned.
