About this entry

74% of key specs known. Missing: hardening, bracelet links, end links, link attachment, clasp micro-adjust.

The GMT version of the Modello Uno UT1, launched with it in July 2024 in Unimatic's permanent Toolwatch collection (Fratello): the same sandblasted case and 360° protection system (TPU gasket above the dial and TPU movement holder, MIL-STD-810H certified according to Unimatic), but on a Swiss Ronda 515.24D quartz instead of the UT1's Seiko VH31, so a separate model. The second time zone is read in 24-hour format on a disc through a window at 12 with an orange pointer, and the date window is at 6; Ronda's instructions set the date and the 24-hour disc from the crown's middle position, which matches Fratello's hands-on. Specification from Unimatic's UT1-GMT spec sheet: 40mm case, 41.5mm across the bezel (recorded as the diameter), 49mm lug to lug, 13.2mm without the crystal and 13.6mm with it (Fratello quotes 13.2mm), 28.4mm case opening, 22mm lugs, 316L steel, 8mm screw-down crown, screw-in caseback, individually tested to 300m, 120-click mono-directional bezel with matte black countdown insert (aluminium per Fratello), 2.5mm flat sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, 84g head and 97g on the strap. Unimatic quotes -1/+20 s/month and about 45 months on an SR920SW cell; Ronda's instructions give -10/+20 s/month. Prices are Unimatic's euro prices for Italy, VAT included. The watch is also sold as a 'Bracelet Premium Set' (ref. UT1-GMT-UBR) with Unimatic's UBR-TLQ18 sandblasted steel bracelet with integrated quick-release, the nylon strap and a tough case instead of the travel pouch, recorded as a second price; no clasp details are published.
