About this entry

53% of key specs known. Missing: lug-to-lug, weight, water resistance, hardening, AR coating, crown, bracelet offered.

The quartz Redcliff that relaunched Fears on 3 November 2016 and was made until 2020: a slim 38mm round case machined from 316L steel in Switzerland and polished on all surfaces, 8.5mm thick with a flat sapphire crystal, 20mm lugs, and the Swiss Ronda 515 (hours, minutes, central seconds with a 'Pipette' counterweight, date at 3), with the lume-filled hour markers that became Fears' 'Pipette' logo. The archive pages give no water resistance or lug-to-lug; the 2023 Redcliff Edwin Edition, described with the same 38mm, 8.5mm Swiss-made case, is rated 50m with 44.5mm lug-to-lug, but that isn't recorded here unconfirmed. Sister models on the same case: Redcliff Continental (Ronda 515.24D GMT) and Redcliff Edwin Edition (two-hand Ronda 512). Dials: Jetliner White and Fears Blue (gloss lacquer, 2016), Pebble Grey (matte, 2017), and Passport Red (gloss burgundy, 25 pieces). Two editions with the same case and movement are variants here: the Bee (2018, five pieces numbered on the engraved caseback, made to mark the opening of Fears' first shop since the 1940s; gloss yellow dial) and the Streamline (2019, 100 pieces for the 1,000th day since the relaunch; vertically grained 'Forties Silver' dial made with 18ct gold plating, gilt numerals from a 1946 Fears Streamline, red seconds hand, horizontally grained case sides; the date window is visible in Fears' photos). All three archive pages load but show no stock on 2026-10-25. Prices are the last ex-VAT prices in Fears' store data.
