About this entry

60% of key specs known. Missing: lug-to-lug, weight, hardening, AR coating, crown, bracelet offered.

Trafford's debut watch, a racing chronograph named for Grand Prix drivers who served with the British S.O.E. (William Grover-Williams, Jean-Pierre Wimille, Robert Benoist), each dial offered with a steel or black case at the same price. The current product pages give no specifications, so the specs come from The Time Bum's review of a pre-production sample: Seiko VK64 meca-quartz, 41mm, 12.7mm, 20mm lugs, 100m, domed sapphire, C3/BGW9 two-tone lume, 120-click 12-hour bezel (direction and insert not stated), relief solid caseback, red date wheel at 6 and a raised 24-hour disc at 3 (the VK64's 24-hour indicator). The review measured 48mm lug to lug but said the lugs would be shortened for production, so lug-to-lug is left blank. Case material from Teddy Baldassarre (Trafford cases are stainless steel); the black case's finish isn't described. Launch year conflicts (Worn & Wound: the brand launched with it in 2020; aBlogtoWatch and The Time Bum: Kickstarter in 2021), so it is left blank. All three pages are sold out and the brand says it does not restock past models; recorded as discontinued. Weight, crystal AR and crown details not found.
