About this entry

87% of key specs known. Missing: hardening, crown.

Meca-quartz chronograph version of the PRS-40 (designed by Giovanni Moro, first sold as a quartz watch in 2014). One store listing offers a "Two Dial" with the Seiko VK61 and a "Three Dial" with the VK67 at the same price; they are separate models here because the movements differ (the two-register VK61 version has its own file). Product page: 316L bead-blasted steel, 40.2mm across the centre of the case and 27mm wide at the lugs, 53.5mm lug-to-lug, 12.25mm to the top of the crystal, 22mm lugs, anti-magnetic 4,800 A/m, 100m, screw back, 75g head only; flat sapphire 30.5mm x 1.8mm with AR on the underside; semi-matt black dial with lumed hour markers and lumed skeleton ("ladder") hands, Super-LumiNova C3. Movement: Seiko VK67 (three-register) meca-quartz, Japanese made; the crown sits at 12 and the dial photos show no date window, so the movement's date is not displayed. 22mm black "Rhino" strap. Case made in Hong Kong. Marked "Final production run" and sold out on 2026-10-25, so status is unknown.
