Islander's first meca-quartz watch and the chronograph companion to the DPA Automatic (same 40mm diameter, dial cues such as the large 30 and 60 numerals). Seiko VK64: 60-minute chronograph counter at 9, 24-hour indicator at 3 linked to the main time, centre chronograph seconds, no running seconds. "There is no date window on this model", so complications are chronograph only. "Just 12.5mm thick to the dome of the crystal", 47mm lug to lug. Etched drag-strip "Christmas Tree" light on the screw-down solid caseback, screw-down crown, 100m (the brand warns not to use the chronograph pushers under water). Case "Stainless Steel" (grade not stated). Domed sapphire with inner AR. Super-LumiNova BGW9 on the hands and markers. Weight 75g from the spec table (not stated what was weighed). Rallye-inspired leather strap; the brand offered an optional steel bracelet separately. No independent reviews found. All three references are tagged "Discontinued" and were sold out on 2026-10-21; prices are the last listed ones (ISL-220 marked down to $97 from $229).
