Unimatic's chronograph, a chrono-diver on Seiko's VK64 meca-quartz movement, sold since 2018 as a series of numbered limited editions and, as the UC3, in Unimatic's permanent Classic series. Each edition has its own reference (U3-<code>), store page, dial, bezel insert and strap set, so editions are recorded as variants; editions that change the case material, size, crystal or movement are separate models, as are the other Modello Tre references (U3FB with a fixed monoblock bezel, U3S and U3S Titanium with a Sellita automatic chronograph). Common specification, from Unimatic's spec sheets and descriptions: 40mm case, 41.5mm across the bezel (recorded as the diameter), 22mm lugs, 2mm screw-down caseback, 8mm screw-down 'Alchemical Sun' crown between two oversized 5.5mm screw-down chronograph pushers, no crown guards (photos), individually tested to 300m, 120-click unidirectional bezel with aluminium insert, 2.5mm double-domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, Seiko VK64 (VK64A on the Diving Heritage sheets) with a 1/5-second centre chronograph hand, mechanical reset and a 60-minute counter at 9; Unimatic quotes +/-20 s/month, about 3 years of battery life and, on the 2018-2021 sheets, antimagnetism to 1,600 A/m, with no regulation claim. Lug to lug, thickness and weight come from the 2025-2026 sheets (U3-DHB, DHBR, DHN, AEB, AEG) and the UC3 sheet: 51.2mm lug to lug, 28.4mm case opening, 12.9mm without the crystal and 14.1mm with it, 316L steel; the U3-AEB, AEG and UC3 sheets give 89g for the head and 107g on a NATO strap, recorded, and the Diving Heritage sheets 86g and 100g on the TPU strap. The 2018-2021 sheets (U3-A, AN, F, FN, AS, FFF, U) give 51mm lug to lug, a 29mm case opening and 13.7mm thickness (crystal not stated) and call the steel 316, as the limited editions' descriptions do, so the earlier case may differ slightly. Two-eyed dials also show the movement's 24-hour indicator at 3; mono-eyed dials show only the 60-minute counter. No edition has a date window that Unimatic states or the photos plainly show (the 2018-2021 sheets say no date; the photos of the others show none, apart from a small frame at 3 on the U3-HS that its page doesn't describe), so complications are hours, minutes and chronograph. Dial layout, lume colour, bezel insert, case coating (black DLC, gunmetal PVD), caseback engraving and straps vary by edition. Prices are the euro prices for Italy, VAT included, shown on each product page; Unimatic prices other markets differently. Sold-out editions keep their store page and last listed price; where the store shows 0 instead, the price comes from launch coverage or is left blank. Edition details. U3-F (2019, 600) and U3-FN (2019, 300, black DLC case): black matte two-eyed dial with C1 white lume and silver trims, professional diver insert with raised lume dot, black heavy-duty nylon NATO. U3-AS (2021, 200), Apollo-Soyuz, marks the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz mission and honours Galina Balashova, the Soviet space programme architect who designed its logo: the blue and red logo on the 24-hour subdial, old radium lume, gold trims, Unimatic's first tachymeter insert, Apollo-Soyuz caseback, galaxy blue Cordura strap plus a laser-etched black leather strap, and a numbered Balashova print. U3-FFF (2021, 200) was made with FiveFortyFive, Unimatic's New Zealand partner: the first blue Modello Tre, night blue dial, hands and insert with C1 lume and red trims, Southern Hemisphere constellation caseback, night blue TPU strap plus a calf leather strap. U3-U (2021, 100) was made with Uncrate: the first sandblasted gunmetal PVD case, two-eyed matte black dial with C1 white outline markers and white trims, minimal insert with raised lume dot, Unimatic x Uncrate caseback, storm grey TPU strap plus a black NATO with gunmetal hardware; the description calls the TPU strap gunmetal grey, the sheet and page spec list storm grey, recorded. U3-8B, U3-8N and U3-8O (2023, 400 each): mono-eyed black, vintage navy or olive drab dial with a concentric-circle counter, GL light old radium outline markers, gold metallic trims and hands, minimal insert in the dial colour, matching TPU strap plus seatbelt NATO; their pages link no spec sheet. U3-HS (2023, 100) was made with Highsnobiety for Disney's 100th anniversary: mono-eyed silver grené dial with the 1929 Mickey Mouse, C1 lume and metallic silver hands, black insert with raised lume dot, Unimatic x Highsnobiety x Disney caseback, king red TPU strap plus a black NATO; its page links no spec sheet, and the small frame at 3 in its photos is not described as a date window, so none is recorded. U3-ULV and U3-ULVN (2023, 150 and 99, the N with a black DLC case and hardware) were made with Undefeated: cream panda or matte black reverse panda dial with the Five Strike logo, custom cream lume and olive drab hand tips, black tachymeter insert, Unimatic x Undefeated caseback, olive drab seatbelt NATO; their pages link no spec sheet. U3-CDL (2024, 72) was made for the Centomiglia del Lario powerboat race on Lake Como: mono-eyed matte black gilt dial with white minute numerals and the race's gold logo, gold metallic ghost hands, tachymeter insert, no lume stated, Unimatic x Centomiglia del Lario caseback, black quick-release TPU strap plus seatbelt NATO; its page links no spec sheet. U3-RUF-B and U3-RUF-G (2024, 100 each) were made with the German car maker RUF: two-eyed matte black dial with the yellow RUF logo and GL yellow lume, black insert with raised lume dot and a black DLC case, or cool grey dial with the green logo, C1 lume and a RUF green tachymeter insert on the steel case; RUF caseback, nylon NATO in black (DLC hardware) or RUF green; their pages link no spec sheet. U3-DHB, U3-DHBR and U3-DHN (2025, 300 each, Diving Heritage): mono-eyed matte black, tropic brown or vintage navy dial with GL light old radium lume and matte white trims, heritage diver insert with raised lume dot, Diving Heritage caseback, tapered quick-release TPU strap. U3-AEB and U3-AEG (2026, 250 each, Impronte collection): mono-eyed matte black or aluminium-colour dial with a matte white subdial and C1 lume, debossed trims, diving insert with raised numerals and triangle, 'wrinkled' caseback, two seatbelt NATO straps; the U3-AEB description is copied from the U3-AEG and gives an aluminium-colour dial, but its spec sheet, page spec list and photos show matte black, recorded; the year is from Fratello's launch article (August 2026), as the pages carry no year tag. UC3 Classic is not a limited edition: the Modello Tre of Unimatic's permanent Classic series, individually numbered in yearly batches: two-eyed matte black dial marked CLASSIC (photos) with C3 pale green lume, off-white closed seconds rail, black anodised aluminium minimal insert with lume dot, 'Rosa dei venti' compass caseback, black heavy-duty NATO and travel pouch; its sheet gives the same case, crystal, VK64 and weights as the 2026 U3 sheets, so it is a variant here, and its page spec list calls the steel 316 where the sheet and description say 316L.
