Straum's integrated-bracelet sports watch in 316L steel, launched in 2023 (aBlogtoWatch, June 2023: pre-orders at €1,600 excluding tax, delivery November 2023, dials in black, white, blue and green plus a red Fratello limited edition that had already sold out). The Grade 5 titanium version is a separate model (see jan-mayen-titanium). Brand spec sheet: 38.7mm, 40.7mm including crown, 11.5mm thick (9.7mm excluding the crystal), 45.7mm lug tip to lug tip, drilled lug holes 42.5mm centre to centre, "lug width 24.8mm (seen from top)" (the integrated bracelet and straps run 24.8mm at the case and taper to 18mm), 10 ATM, screw-down crown, screw-down steel caseback with a sapphire window, double-domed sapphire with internal AR coating. Dials are stamped in several stages and painted, with fumé; indices and diamond-cut hands are filled with "Swiss Super-LumiNova Grade A" (colour grade not stated; reviews describe a blue glow). Movement per Straum: LJP G101 (no date) in Soigné grade, adjusted in four positions (CH, 3H, 6H, 9H), middle rate 7 ±7 s/day (recorded as 0 to +14), max. divergence 20 s/day, isochronism ±15 s/day, 68h. Bracelet: CNC-machined steel links tapering across the first five links, pin-and-collar construction with sizing tools, two 130% links; machined push-button butterfly clasp. Current pages say Straum's micro-adjust system is now included as standard (the separately sold steel micro-adjust clasp gives 4mm of on-the-fly adjustment via an enclosed ratchet; Straum states three positions only for the titanium clasp); the 2023 launch clasp had no micro-adjust (aBlogtoWatch), and the archived Glacial Rift, Basalt, Purple Borealis and Fratello pages still list the clasp without it. Bracelet fit per Straum: about 13 to 20cm wrists. FKM rubber straps were added to the steel model in 2025; the strap price is the "FKM rubber strap" configuration, with the strap colour chosen at order (black, white, beige, grey, yellow, dark blue, dark green, purple). Weight not published. Limited and special editions: the Fratello LE (red dial after the Beerenberg volcano, 2023), Glacial Rift (2024, tagged limited and discontinued), the three Basalt editions (2024, real basalt-wafer sandwich dials; Radiant Mist over a fully lumed fumé base, Magma Red and Volcanic Grey over sunburst bases, with a lumed chapter ring) and Purple Borealis (2026; aBlogtoWatch says "limited to 200 pieces in either titanium or steel", unclear whether per case material); the brand gives no edition sizes. All of these show "Sold out" on Straum's pages although the store data still marks some of them purchasable; their archived pages still list the prices recorded here. Prices are Straum's US-dollar prices (the store's base prices are NOK 25,500 on the bracelet and NOK 23,750 on rubber, including Norwegian VAT); aBlogtoWatch (May 2026) gives $2,200 for steel on FKM. Arctic dials (Alpine Glow, Aurora Sky, Meltwater Teal, Tundra Brown) were introduced in 2025 and are still listed for sale. Straum also sells strap adapters for most 20mm straps.
