About this entry

73% of key specs known. Missing: weight, crown, lume, bracelet offered.

The Medium (38mm) Model 1 with the A1 movement. anOrdain sells the Model 1 (first launched in 2018) in Small (35mm), Medium (38mm) and Large (41mm) cases, each with a choice of Sellita SW210, La Joux-Perret G101 or A1 (decorated G101); each size and movement is a separate model here. Medium: 38mm, 46mm lug-to-lug and 18mm lugs (FAQ), 11mm case depth (the Porcelain page's spec table, which shows the Medium size). aBlogtoWatch's July 2022 review of a 38mm Teal gives the same 46mm and 11mm. The A1 is anOrdain's decorated La Joux-Perret G101, made by its partners in Switzerland to designs developed with Glasgow artist Rachel Duckhouse (laser engraving, multi-axis machining, galvanic treatments), and shown through a display caseback (FAQ: A1 watches come with a display back); anOrdain introduced it in May 2025 (its A1 article). Time only, central seconds. The same case with the plain G101 or the hand-wound SW210 is a separate model. Iron Cream, Oxblood, Parisian Blue and Teal have vitreous enamel dials on copper; the Blue, Green, Plum and Payne's Grey Fumé are enamel on silver (the "all sizes" listings from November 2025, which anOrdain calls the updated fumés). Porcelain (white glazed porcelain dial, listed July 2026) comes only in the Medium size with the G101 or A1, and needs no build slot. All eight enamel colourways are on anOrdain's core-models list; enamel watches are built to order through a paid waiting list (build slots offered for 2031 on 2026-10-25), so the status is in-production. Prices are anOrdain's listed prices, which exclude VAT ("+ VAT" on the site), and are the same for every strap. Two Medium A1 listings price one strap differently: Parisian Blue on black shell cordovan at £2,485 (other straps £2,555) and Green Fumé on black shell cordovan at £3,340 (other straps £3,430, against £3,480 for the Blue and Payne's Grey Fumé); the majority price is recorded. The Plum Fumé is listed at £3,380 against £3,480 for the Blue Fumé; recorded as listed. Shared brand specs: polished 316L case (the opaque-dial pages say "polished hardened 316L steel", the fumé and Porcelain pages "polished 316L steel"; hardness not published), sapphire crystal with three AR layers on both sides (FAQ, for models from 2023 on; the fumé pages say double-sided), heat-blued steel hands, screw-in caseback, 5ATM, five-year warranty. anOrdain regulates each movement after assembly to the owner's habits (which wrist, how it's stored) but publishes no rate figure. No lume is listed (the Model 2's table lists Super-LumiNova, the Model 1's doesn't), but absence isn't stated, so lume is left blank. Crystal shape, crown and weight aren't published.
