The Grade 5 titanium version of the Jan Mayen (the 316L steel model is jan-mayen), launched with pre-orders on 26 June 2025 in Moss Green, Arctic Blue, Black Sand and Glacier White on Straum's new integrated FKM rubber strap at $1,930 excluding duties (Hodinkee). Same case dimensions as the steel model per Straum: 38.7mm, 40.7mm including crown, 11.5mm thick (9.7mm excluding the crystal), 45.7mm lug tip to lug tip, drilled lug holes 42.5mm apart, 24.8mm at the case (integrated), 10 ATM; case, bezel and screw-down caseback (sapphire window) in Grade 5 titanium, bead-blasted with polished accents. Hodinkee measured 45.8mm lug to lug and 11.3mm; Straum's figures are recorded. Movement per Straum: LJP G101 (no date), Soigné grade adjusted in four positions, middle rate 7 ±7 s/day (recorded as 0 to +14), max. divergence 20 s/day, isochronism ±15 s/day, 68h. Lume: "Swiss Super-LumiNova Grade A" in indices and diamond-cut hands. Bracelet: aBlogtoWatch (May 2026) said no titanium bracelet existed yet; Straum now sells every titanium watch on its Grade 5 titanium bracelet (also sold separately, $900): CNC-machined, tapering from 24.8mm to 18mm across the first five links, pin-and-collar with sizing tools, two 130% links, push-button quick release, and a micro-adjust clasp with "4mm of on-the-fly tuning across three positions" (the bracelet page's text mentions "two half-links" while its spec table says two 130% links). The bracelet-or-strap choice is the price configuration; strap colour is chosen at order. Weight not published (aBlogtoWatch: about a third lighter than steel). Variants: the eight regular colourways; Purple Borealis (2026, limited, sold out; aBlogtoWatch: 200 pieces "in either titanium or steel"); Frozen Metal (2026), sold under its own "Frozen Metal" name but with a Jan Mayen titanium reference and the same case, movement and spec sheet, with a stamped brass dial given a galvanic "frosted" perimeter and applied diamond-cut indices and hands in "Frostbite Blue" PVD, priced $100 above the regular colourways; the Fratello Limited Edition (2025, the red Fratello dial reissued in titanium for orders until 3 July 2025 per Hodinkee; page now archived); the Time+Tide Special Edition (2025, golden moss dial, marked "Available at Time+Tide" on Straum's page and listed in Time+Tide's shop at the same prices); and the TRTS Stormy Seas special edition (2025, with The Real Time Show: Fluor Orange seconds hand, titanium-only couplings; sold in order windows, the first 6-20 November 2025 at $1,930 excluding VAT, and Straum's page now reads "Order window closed, next window: November 2026"). Edition sizes are not stated by the brand. Prices are Straum's US-dollar prices (base prices NOK 32,000 on the bracelet and NOK 28,000 on rubber including Norwegian VAT; Frozen Metal NOK 33,500/29,500).
