About this entry

74% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening, lume, bracelet links, end links.

Isotope's 38mm hand-wound dress watch, sold only in limited editions. All editions share the same spec table: 316L steel cushion case 38mm, 10mm and 44.5mm with lugs ("Case diameter 38mm x 10mm / 44.5mm (with lugs)"; the brand doesn't say whether the 10mm includes the domed crystal), anti-reflective domed sapphire, screw-in sapphire exhibition caseback, push-down crown with the Lacrima logo, 100m, 20mm quick-release straps. Movement: Isotope's calibre I-7, a modified and regulated ETA/Peseux 7001 (hand-wound, 17 jewels, 21,600 A/h, 42h, small seconds at 6) with a bespoke hand-finished bridge; no regulation figure is published. The Oracle Time x Isotope Mercury Vitreous (a collaboration with the watch site Oracle Time, 25 numbered pieces per colour) uses the same 38mm Mercury case and I-7 movement, so it is recorded as two variants here: Lava Orange in a sandblasted, black DLC-coated case and Spearmint Green in a bead-blasted case, both with Grand Feu vitreous enamel over a textured sterling silver base. Alchemy (40 pieces) has a dark gold PVD case and comes with a matching PVD bracelet plus a cream suede strap; the bracelet details are from the separately sold Mercury S.S. Bracelet (£248: rice-bead, solid screw links, quick-release, 20mm tapering to 18mm, signed trigger-release butterfly clasp with tool-free on-the-fly micro-adjustment). Shadow (100 pieces, mirror-polished case) was listed sold out on 2026-10-25 at £2,580, more than the newer Alchemy's £2,300; both recorded as listed. Isotope's store prices include UK VAT. The colour coatings (PVD, DLC) are cosmetic; no hardening is claimed. Lume isn't listed. Isotope also takes bespoke commissions for a Mercury with a hand-made straw-marquetry dial by Bernardo d'Orey (from £4,000 + VAT, £2,000 + VAT deposit); that listing is a commission service rather than a fixed watch, so it isn't recorded as a variant. Three sold-out editions, listed without a price, share the spec table: Isotope x Revolution (May 2024, with Revolution's Wei Koh; 150 pieces, 100 sold by Revolution and 50 by Isotope; fully mirror-polished case, hands and convex mirror dial; off-white suede strap; launch price £1,990 / USD 2,400 excluding taxes per WatchGecko), Altmann x Isotope (March 2026, with designer Björn Altmann; five grand feu cloisonné enamel dials of an Osaka manhole cover, with a signed copy of his book; £3,600 on white FKM or £3,800 with the bracelet, per Oracle of Time; Isotope's spec and photos show no small-seconds sub-dial on this edition, though the I-7 has one) and Seconds Society x Isotope (May 2026, 10 pieces; cold enamel sector dial with framed small seconds, burgundy hands, grey suede strap and Mercury bracelet; no price found).
