About this entry

79% of key specs known. Missing: hardening, bracelet links, end links, clasp micro-adjust.

Detroit Watch Company's M1-Woodward chronograph in its Valjoux 7753 build: tricompax subdials at 3, 6 and 9 and no date window (the listings' functions omit the date and the photos show none); the M1-Woodward 42mm (Valjoux 7750) is the day-date build. Every listing gives the same case and movement: 42mm polished and brushed steel case, 14.5mm overall height, 52mm lug to lug, 22mm lugs, screw-down crown, sapphire display caseback with the M1 rotor, 112g on the strap, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 5 ATM, lumed hour indexes; "Top execution" Valjoux 7753, 27 jewels, adjusted to +4 to +6 s/day, 48-hour power reserve. All are $2,475 on a calf strap with deployant clasp; the Classic versions are $2,600 on a polished or polished/brushed bracelet (solid links held by screws, deployant buckle with three micro-adjustment positions, mechanism not described, 2mm thick). Versions: Classic Roman (black hands), Classic Roman Blue Hands and Classic Arabic Blue Hands, all satin white; and the 1805 Edition (for Woodward Avenue, laid out by Augustus B. Woodward in 1805), each listing "Limited to 60 dials. Numbered from 01/60 to 60/60", in a white panda dial and a Blue Panda dial. The Blue Panda listing's dial line ("Satin white") is copied from the 1805 Edition; its title and photos show a blue dial with white subdials, which is what's recorded. Not stated: steel grade, lume type, crystal shape, AR side.
