The 42mm size of Vaer's Hong Kong-assembled S5 quartz field watch ("Sized at 42mm, a great fit for larger wrists"), with its own bracelet fitment ("S5 42mm"); the 40mm S5 is a separate model. Store listings were created on 4 December 2025 (Calendar Field Black, Tactical Field) and 12 February 2026 (Calendar Field White); release year inferred from the store. Brand: 42mm, 20mm lugs, 10 ATM, 316L steel, locking screw-down crown, flat sapphire with internal AR, Miyota GR12 with date (date at 3 in the photos), 40-month battery life, -10/+20 sec/month. The 42mm pages' "48mm lug-to-lug", "9.4mm" thickness and "case weight of 54 grams" are repeated unchanged from the 40mm pages, so they are not used; no independent measurement was found. The description bullets also say "Miyota 2035", a no-date caliber, contradicting the GR12 spec line and the date window; GR12 kept. All three 42mm pages list "15 layers C1" lume (and "Black matte dial") word for word, but the photos show green-tinted numerals on the Tactical Field (C3 on the 40mm) and orange-tipped hands on the Calendar Field White (Old Radium on the 40mm), so the grade per colourway is not recorded. Tactical Field has a black PVD-coated case and is sold with the black PVD Premium bracelet (+USD 100; the option is labelled "Premium Steel Bracelet" but its SKU and photos are the PVD version). Bracelet recorded is the Premium Steel Bracelet (+USD 90): screw links, solid custom-fit end links, quick-release pins, 20-16mm, milled clasp with four spring-bar micro-adjust positions (Vaer bracelet page and FAQ). The galleries reuse a C5 Solar caseback photo, so caseback details are not recorded. No independent review was found. No hardening treatment is mentioned. All three were in stock on 2026-10-21.
