Three-hand solar quartz with date at 3, sold to third parties by Seiko Epson (also signed V157A per Caliber Corner). Uses a rechargeable MT920 capacitor; the seconds hand moves in 2-second steps when the charge is low. 11 1/2 ligne, 28.6mm casing diameter, 3.5mm thick (5.7mm total height). Stated accuracy +/-20 s/month at 5-50C. No official Epson spec sheet could be fetched (Epson's movement site refused the request), so figures come from Caliber Corner's caliber database. Power reserve is left blank because sources disagree: Caliber Corner says about 12 months on a full charge, Vaer says about 6 months. The VS22 (data/movements/epson-vs22.yaml) is the smaller sibling, also with date. Tier "entry" per the guide's basic Japanese quartz row.
