Brand of Hemel, LLC, a New York company founded by designer Marvin Menke; the About page calls it "Long Island's first watch microbrand", based in Nassau County. Known for mid-century military and pilot styles, notably the HFT20 chronograph (also as Hemel x USAF). Worn & Wound covered its first Kickstarter in March 2016. The Shopify store also sells other vendors' goods (Graphic Image, Misc. Goods Co., Zootility) and Hemel LLC's second brand Eylandt, so shopify.vendor is set to Hemel. The sheet's "2012, USAF tie-in" is partly right (USAF edition) but the founding year is unverified.
