About this entry

67% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening, AR coating, crown, lume.

24-hour automatic from Vasco's "Instruments" collection (Nautique, Nocturne, Naval): the hour hand is the C125's 24-hour hand (one turn a day), with minute and seconds hands; two-colour dial with a compass function. No date window shows on the photos. Brand specifications: assembled in Bordeaux; Ø40mm, "épaisseur: 12.3 mm + 1.5 mm de verre bombé" (13.8mm total recorded); Soprod C125 ("Swiss Made", 42h, 25 jewels), "réglé à ±6s" (recorded as ±6 s/day; positions not stated); polished 316L steel; screw-down caseback with a sapphire window; 5 ATM; domed sapphire crystal; French leather strap with quick-release bars and a deployant buckle. Lug-to-lug (48mm) and lug width (20mm) are from the brand's technical drawing, which also gives the 12.3mm case height and a 7mm crown. The three strap choices cost the same. Vasco says its first automatics used Raketa movements before the switch to the C125; this record covers the C125 version sold now.
