About this entry

89% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening.

Announced March 2019 (Fratello), shipping from August 2019; the current Charcoal, Monta Blue and Opalin Silver listings date from 2020. "Bezel-less" GMT: a fixed, radially brushed steel bezel with the 24-hour scale printed on the rehaut, date at 6. MONTA Caliber M-23, 56h per Monta. aBlogtoWatch (2023) says early Atlases used a Monta-branded Sellita SW330-1 (2019 reviews give 42h) and that Monta has since moved the Atlas to the SW330-2; the 56h on Monta's current page matches the SW330-2. 2019 reviews quote a ±5 s/day regulation claim; Monta's current ±7 s/day claim is made for the M-22 only, so no regulation is recorded. Monta's page gives 38.5 / 10.7 / 47mm; 2019-2023 reviews give 10.2mm thick and Worn & Wound 47.5mm lug-to-lug (the brand figures are recorded; the case may have been revised). Flat bevelled sapphire with 7 AR layers on the underside; sapphire display caseback; screw-down crown with no crown guards (aBlogtoWatch, Gear Patrol). Lume: Monta states BGW9 on the hands; Worn & Wound says all indices and hands are lumed with BGW9. Bracelet: three-link Oyster-style (aBlogtoWatch, Worn & Wound, Time+Tide) with a light taper (width not published), screwed links, solid end links and two half-links; machined (not stamped) clasp per aBlogtoWatch. The 2019 Atlas had a 4-hole micro-adjust deployant; the current 3-slot quick-adjust clasp (3mm per slot) is described by Monta as adjustable without removing the watch. Reviewers (2019, 2023) say a NATO-style strap was included; Monta's current listing only mentions the bracelet, so no strap is recorded. Weight not published. Charcoal Dial was sold out ("Coming soon") on 2026-10-21. Shares its 38.5mm, 10.7mm case dimensions and M-23 with the Noble Voyager, which has a polished bezel and a different dial.
