The original Republic, named after Republic Airport near Long Island Watch's office, and described by the brand as Islander's first true GMT and first Swiss movement. Sellita SW330-2 "office"/"caller" GMT (grade not stated): the airplane-tipped 24-hour hand is set in one-hour steps and read on the 24-hour chapter ring, and the bidirectional 24-hour bezel tracks a third zone (click count not stated). Colour-matched date between 4 and 5. The later Republic Traveler GMT (ISL-238/275/276) uses the same 40mm case with a Miyota 9075 flyer GMT, is 13.1mm thick and is a separate file. Stainless steel case (grade not stated), 40 x 12mm, 46.5mm lug to lug, 20mm lugs, embossed screw-down crown, embossed solid screw-down caseback, 200m. Flat sapphire with inner AR. Lume: BGW9 on the applied numerals, indices and hands (GMT hand tip lumed), C3 Super-LumiNova on the sapphire bezel insert. Weight 170g from the spec table (not stated what was weighed). Bracelet: brushed and polished, solid 20mm end links, links held with screws, tapering to 18mm; StrapHabit describes the Republic bracelet as a 5-link Speedmaster-style design (three brushed links split by polished ones), which matches the photos. Clasp: milled flip-lock "scissor" clasp with 4 micro-adjust positions; spring-bar holes are visible in the clasp photo, so micro-adjust is recorded as tool. Bezel colours are from the photos. All three references are tagged "Discontinued" and were sold out on 2026-10-21; the store still lists them at $895.
