About this entry

73% of key specs known. Missing: thickness, weight, hardening, AR coating.

Mercer's hand-wound bicompax chronograph, which the brand calls its best seller; relisted in December 2023 and orderable in all three colours at $429 on 2026-10-31 ($529 in 2018). Current brand specifications: "39mm x 11mm" 316L stainless steel case, manual-wind Seagull ST19 column-wheel chronograph (the ST1901, per both reviews), high-dome K1 crystal, sapphire display caseback, BG-W9 Super-LumiNova on the indices and hands, perforated Italian calfskin strap. Thickness is left blank: the brand gives 11mm, while Worn & Wound and Monochrome (2018) both give 13.5mm, and none says whether the crystal is included. Lug-to-lug (49mm), lug width (20mm), the 20-16mm strap taper, 50m water resistance, the fully polished case and the push-pull crown come from those 2018 reviews, which describe a K1 mineral display caseback where the current listing states sapphire. Worn & Wound reported that each ST1901 was assembled, tested and regulated in New Jersey (no rate stated). Not stated: weight, AR coating.
