About this entry

84% of key specs known. Missing: weight, bracelet links, clasp micro-adjust.

The GMT Thule (Thyïlea GMT on the dial) as sold now with a Seiko NH34, whose fourth hand reads a second time zone on a 24-hour scale; the three-hand version is Thule (NH35). Brand spec: grade 2 titanium, satin brushed or bead blasted, HV1200 scratch-resistant coating, 39 x 48.5mm, 20mm lugs, 12.3mm thick, 100 m with screw-down crown, flat sapphire with bevelled edge AR coated inside, Super-LumiNova C3, custom titanium H-link bracelet tapering 20-18mm. The coating is recorded on case and bracelet from the brand's post shown on its site ("Full titanium case and bracelet. 1200HV hardness coated"). The 2021-22 launch Thule GMT used a Sellita SW330-2 and measured a little over 11mm thick (Worn & Wound, The Time Bum); that build is a separate model. Bracelet details (solid end links, screws, quick-release bars, stainless steel clasp) and the plain solid caseback are from The Time Bum's review of the 2021 build and are assumed unchanged. When the NH34 build replaced the Sellita one is not stated. The merlot GMT photo is used for both merlot options in the store, so it isn't tied to one finish.
