Unimatic's first forged carbon watch, made with Hodinkee in 2023 as an individually numbered edition of 250 (sold by Hodinkee as the Modello Uno U1S-Carbon GMT), alongside a forged carbon Modello Quattro U4S. It is a U1S GMT on an ETA 2893-2 in a forged carbon case, so it is its own model. From Unimatic's description: matte forged carbon case whose grey pattern differs on each piece, titanium caseback with the individual number, 8mm crown, individually tested to 300m, matte black engraved 24-hour bezel insert, double-domed anti-reflective sapphire (side not stated), matte black dial with C1 lume, GMT hand with a hollow arrow tip in C1, ETA 2893-2 with a 42h power reserve, black TPU strap with forged carbon hardware. Esquire's launch report gives a 41.5mm diameter and 11.6mm thickness (recorded) and a titanium inner case. The description calls the caseback an exhibition sapphire caseback, but the product photo shows a solid engraved titanium back, recorded as solid. Photos show a date window at 6. The page links no spec sheet: lug to lug, lug width, crown and bezel action are not stated. Unimatic's store shows 0 for this sold-out edition, so the price is the 2,900 USD launch price from Esquire (sold through Hodinkee). No weight is published.
