About this entry
67% of key specs known. Missing: thickness, weight, hardening, crown, bracelet offered.
The Modello Quattro U4S in titanium on the Swiss ETA 2893-2 GMT movement, the first GMT and the first titanium Modello Quattro (Fratello), so far one edition, recorded as a variant; the titanium U4S on the Sellita SW200-1 is the separate Modello Quattro U4S Titanium. Its page links no spec sheet. Specification from its description and page header and from Fratello's launch report (March 2023): 40mm sandblasted grade 2 titanium case, 49mm lug to lug and 22mm lugs (Fratello), fixed monoblock bezel and crown guards (photos), 8mm crown (not called screw-down), 2mm screwed-in caseback, individually tested to 300m, flat sapphire with anti-reflective coating (side not stated). Fratello gives 12.4mm thick without saying whether the crystal is included; Unimatic's sheets for the titanium U4S on the Sellita give 12.7mm without and 13mm with the crystal, so no thickness is recorded. No weight is published. The description gives the 2893-2 at 28,800 bph with 42h of power reserve, without a grade or regulation claim. The dial shows a date window at 6 and a hollow arrow GMT hand against a printed 24-hour scale (photos, Fratello), so complications are left to the movement (date and GMT). The page header says 'Time Only' but also 'Swiss GMT movement'. Edition details. U4S-T-HS (2023, 100) was made with the Canadian retailer Henry Singer: storm grey dial with a silver 24-hour scale and GL light old radium lume, matching phantom ladder hands, temperature conversion scale caseback, storm grey TPU strap plus a storm grey NATO with panna stripes and a sandblasted titanium buckle; Fratello gave 1,995 USD at launch, sold through Unimatic, Henry Singer and Hodinkee, and the recorded price is the euro price for Italy, VAT included, still shown on the sold-out product page.
