GMT version of ETA's 2892 family: a 2892-based automatic with an extra centre 24-hour hand that is set on its own in one-hour jumps (crown in the second position), so it is an "office"/"caller" GMT rather than a "flyer" with a jumping local hour hand. ETA technical communication CT 2893-2 (17.11.2010): 11½ lignes, Ø25.60mm, 4.10mm movement height, 42h running time, 21 jewels, balance lift angle 51°, 28,800 vph; its parts list includes a winding stem and winding pinion, a stop lever (hacking), an ETACHRON regulator, a 24-hour hour wheel and a double corrector for the date and the 24-hour hand. Conflict: secondary sources (Grail Watch) also quote 50h from ETA's current product page, which could not be read (access denied); ETA's own technical communication's 42h is used here. ETA sells it in grades (brands cite Elaboré and Top), but no grade figures for the 2893-2 itself were found, so none are recorded; the 2892-A2's are in eta-2892-a2. Grail Watch notes that since 2021 ETA no longer supplies these movements outside the Swatch Group. Counterpart: Sellita SW330.
