About this entry
79% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening, bracelet links, link attachment.
The Olmsted 38mm field watch in its Sellita SW300 build; the earlier ETA 2892-A2 build is a separate model. When the switch happened isn't stated. Brand specs, the same on all five listings: SW300 with the four-star rotor, 316L case of 38mm with drilled lugs, 10.8mm case height (whether the crystal is included isn't stated), 44.9mm lug-to-lug, 20mm lugs, 100m, screw-down crown, double-domed sapphire with "multi-layer anti-reflective coating" (side not stated), sandwich dial with BGW9. The brand quotes 42h on most listings and 50h on the Windup Edition. Olmsted 38 (Green, White, Navy, Grey): each colour comes with a colour-matched date at 6 or without a date at the same price; the white dial has luminous indices instead of a lumed base dial; bracelet of fully articulated links tapering from 20mm solid end links to a 16mm buckle, 7 removable links, six-position quick-adjust clasp adjustable "on the fly" without tools, plus a nylon strap; assembled to order in Chicago and orderable on 2026-10-25. The date versions show the full SW300 functions; the no-date options, the Matte, the ExP-01 and the FEW Edition are time-only (the ExP-01 page calls its movement "a true no date movement without a ghost position"). Matte: matte ceramic-coated case cured at high temperature in the US, charcoal no-date dial, Horween strap and olive drab nylon strap with coated hardware; "limited production" in batches, not numbered; this listing (SKU OlmMatteTwo, the second batch) names the SW300, while Worn & Wound says the first 2020 batch used a modified ETA 2892-A2 (recorded under Olmsted (ETA 2892-A2)); sold out. ExP-01 (July 2023): first of the Experimental Series, case, crown, bezel, caseback and buckle heat-treated in-house in a kiln to a coppery-bronze oxide colour, dark green no-date dial, sapphire display caseback (brand photos), 20mm army green strap (called canvas in the overview, nylon in the box list) with an 18mm heat-treated buckle; limited production, sold only in person at Windup Watch Fair Chicago 2023; sold out. FEW Edition (December 2023): collaboration with FEW Spirits, limited to 50, deep salmon no-date dial, a coin of bourbon-barrel oak set in the caseback, Horween strap and grey nylon strap; the page lists the case as "316L heat-treated stainless steel"; sold out. Windup Edition (October 2025): grey date dial with special caseback and engraving for ten years of Oak & Oscar and Windup, five pieces sold at Windup NYC, on the bracelet; still orderable on 2026-10-25. No weight published.
