About this entry

The Humboldt in its Sellita SW300 build (the earlier ETA 2892-A2 build and the Humboldt GMT are separate models). ExP-02 (listed February 2026), the second watch of Oak & Oscar's Experimental Series: dial laser-cut, sandblasted matte grey and laser-marked with a "ghost script" in Chicago; fixed steel bezel turned in-house on a Schaublin 70 lathe; BGW9 on the hands only; time-only (no date window in the brand's photos, and the spec list has no date line); sapphire exhibition caseback. Brand specs: SW300 (the brand quotes 56h), 39.5mm case with drilled lugs, 12.4mm case height (whether the crystal is included isn't stated), 46.8mm lug-to-lug, 20mm lugs, 200m, double-domed sapphire with "multi-layer anti-reflective coating" (side not stated); bracelet of solid, fully articulated links tapering 20mm to 16mm, plus an orange nylon strap. The page doesn't name the case material; steel is recorded from the photos and the rest of the Humboldt line. Initial run of 20 (ten for Owners, ten for the public) sold by lottery; the brand says more will follow, so no limit is recorded. The store shows $2,550 with a compare-at price of $2,450; sold out on 2026-10-25. Seven Year (July 2022): made for Oak & Oscar's seventh anniversary and sold only at the 2022 Chicago Windup, ten pieces; hand-cut, untreated 693 Eco Brass bezel machined in-house, hand-turned dial showing the bare metal, sandblasted rotor visible through a sapphire caseback (brand photos), sandwich dial with BGW9, date at 6 (unlike the time-only ExP-02); delivered on a Horween strap and a navy nylon strap, no bracelet. Brand specs: SW300 (the brand quotes 42h), 316L mid-case and caseback, 39.5mm, 12.4mm case height, 46.8mm lug-to-lug, 20mm lugs, 200m, double-domed AR sapphire; sold out. Because the Seven Year has a date, no time-only complications are set on the model; the ExP-02 shows time only.
