About this entry

89% of key specs known. Missing: weight, hardening.

Launched August 2020 (Worn & Wound) with blue dégradé and opalin silver dials; anthracite dégradé added in 2021. Not a limited edition (Monta capped first-year production at 200). MONTA Caliber M-22 (Sellita SW300 base); Monta's page and its January 2025 re-release post give 56h, while 2020-2023 reviews give 42h, so earlier Nobles have the shorter-running SW300-1 barrel. Monta's movement blog claims ±7 s/day averaged over 5 positions for every M-22; 2020 reviews quoted ±5 s/day. Brand page: 38.5 / 9.7 / 47mm, 20mm lugs, 150m. Flat bevelled sapphire with 7 AR layers on the underside (aBlogtoWatch calls it box-style; the brand's "flat" is recorded); sapphire display caseback with engravings; screw-down crown, no crown guards (seen in Monta's product photos; the Noble 40 adds guards). Lume: Monta states BGW9 on the hands; reviewers note lume bars on the hour markers too. Smooth mirror-polished steel bezel. Bracelet: Monta's articulating bracelet, three links across in Monta's photos (Worn & Wound calls the shared Monta bracelet Oyster-style on the Atlas and Noble 40), screwed links, solid end links, two half-links; 3-slot quick-adjust clasp with flip lock, machined per aBlogtoWatch's Atlas and Noble Voyager reviews of the same Monta clasp. Monta gives 3mm per slot and says it can be adjusted on the wrist; Worn & Wound (2020) says 1.5mm increments, so range is left blank. Taper and weight not published. The "Piece Unique - Noble Generational Suburst Blue" listing is a one-off Noble (same case, M-22, polished steel bezel per its spec table) with a non-dégradé blue sunburst dial, sold through Monta's store at USD 1,895 and sold out on 2026-10-21; its store SKU (165BK60ALBL) follows Monta's Oceanking numbering, so it isn't recorded as a reference.
